Description
SM-2.0-LoRa / wM-Bus is a fully autonomous home smoke detector designed for early fire detection at the smoldering stage, before open flames appear and the temperature rises. The device detects visible smoke, characteristic of the initial phase of a fire hazard, allowing for a quick response and minimizing losses.
The detector is designed for use in residential buildings, such as apartments and single-family homes, as well as in basements, garages, and attics. It is intended for use in enclosed spaces where, under normal conditions, there are no interfering factors such as smoke, water vapor, or excessive dust.
The device can operate independently or as part of a fire monitoring system, communicating with the master infrastructure via:
- LoRa (compatible with RAK gateway),
- wM-Bus (compatible with UL 5.0 concentrator).
Thanks to wireless communication, the detector is ideal for Smart Home solutions, remote monitoring systems, and installations requiring low energy consumption and high reliability.
The SM-2.0-LoRa / wM-Bus detector is intended for domestic use only and meets the requirements of modern fire safety systems for residential buildings.

Functionality:
The detector can be in the following states:
- monitoring – the LED flashes every 40 seconds to confirm correct operation;
- alarm – signals with LED flashes and a modulated acoustic signal;
- repeating the alarm of another detector – modulated acoustic signal;
- malfunction – short acoustic signal every 40 seconds without LED flash;
- battery replacement required – short acoustic signal every 40 seconds and LED flash.
- ambient temperature measurement – the sensor measures the temperature and transmits it in the display frame.
Pressing the test button activates the optical and acoustic signaling as for a fire alarm. If the detector’s measuring chamber becomes dirty, which may occur as a result of prolonged use in unfavorable conditions, the chamber can be easily cleaned or replaced with a new one.
