Privacy policy

 

  1. This Privacy Policy sets out the rules for the processing of personal data obtained through the online shop https://sklep.globtree.pl/ (hereinafter: the “Online Shop”) and informs you about them.
  2. The owner of the Store and, at the same time, the Personal Data Administrator, is GlobTree Sp. z o.o., with its registered seat in Olsztyn (10-683), 16 Trylińskiego Street, entered into the Register of Entrepreneurs of the National Court Register kept by the District Court in Olsztyn, 8th Commercial Division, under KRS number 0000304081, NIP: 7393679238, Regon: 280292161, hereinafter referred to as GlobTree,
  3. GlobTree takes special care to respect the privacy of the Customers visiting the Online Shop.

  I. How do we collect data?

  1. GlobTree collects information concerning natural persons performing a legal action not directly related to their activity, natural persons conducting a commercial or professional activity on their own behalf, and natural persons representing legal persons or organisational entities that are not legal persons but to which the law grants legal capacity, conducting a commercial or professional activity on their own behalf, hereinafter collectively referred to as Clients.
  2. Customers’ personal data is collected in cases:
    • account registration in the Online Shop;
    • placing an order in the Online Shop;
    • subscription to the newsletter;
    • use of the service.
  3. The registration of an account serves to facilitate the customer’s use of the website, including simplifying purchases. Therefore, when registering an account with the Online Shop, the Customer shall provide:
    • e-mail address;
    • address details: postal code and town, country (state); street address with house/flat number;
    • first name and surname;
    • telephone number.
  4. When registering an account with the Online Shop, the Customer independently sets an individual password to access his/her account. The Customer may change the password at a later date.
  5. It is also possible to make purchases without registering an account. When placing an order in the Online Shop, the Customer provides the following data:
    • e-mail address;
    • address details: postal code and town, country (state); street address with house/flat number;
    • first name and surname;
    • telephone number.
  6. In the case of Entrepreneurs, the above data scope is further extended to include:
    • the company of the entrepreneur
    • number NIP
  7. When using the Newsletter service, the customer only provides his/her e-mail address.
  8. It is also possible to use the Website without registering an account and without providing the aforementioned personal data if the Customer does not make a purchase, but only reads the content published on the Website
  9. When using the Shop’s Website, additional information may be collected, in particular: the IP address assigned to the Customer’s computer or the external IP address of the Internet provider, domain name, browser type, access time, operating system type.
  10. Navigation data may also be collected from Customers, including information about links and references they choose to click on or other actions they take on our Online Shop.

  II. How do we process the data collected?

  1. We process data for the following purposes:
    • Performing a contract binding us or taking action at the customer’s request, including responding to an enquiry, selling and delivering goods and accepting their return, handling complaints, enabling the customer to conveniently make payments asserting or defending against claims. The basis for this processing is Article 6(1)(b) of the DPA;
    • to enable the customer to use the service by creating and maintaining an individual user account without having to repeatedly enter data, also on the basis of Article 6(1)(b) of the RODO;
    • keeping of accounting and tax records, where the basis is Article 6(1)(c) of the RODO;
    • if the customer agrees, i.e. on the basis of Article 6(1)(b) of the RODO, we use their data to send commercial information, including newsletters, to their e-mail address.
    • we also process data in the event of a claim or defence against claims, on the basis of Article 6(1)(f) RODO.
  2. As part of our cooperation with customers, data may be processed by our partners. Therefore, in addition to our authorised employees, the recipients of this data will be: operators and managers of IT systems, payment systems, our suppliers, transport, courier and postal companies, accounting offices, law firms and debt collection agencies.
  3. We store your data depending on the process:
    • in respect of the data provided for the purposes of account maintenance, until the account is cancelled,
    • with regard to the data provided for the purpose of purchase, until the expiry of the period in which claims may be asserted, and with regard to the processing of data for accounting and tax purposes, for a period of 5 years from the end of the fiscal year in which the purchase was made,
    • with regard to the data provided for the purpose of sending the newsletter, until you withdraw your consent.
  4. Your provision of the above-mentioned data is voluntary, but necessary for the performance of the contract in question. In the case of sales, the provision of the data is also a statutory requirement, if an invoice is requested.

  III. Cookie mechanism, IP address

  1. The shop uses cookies. These are small text files sent by a web server and stored by the browser’s computer software. When the browser reconnects to the website, the website recognises the type of device from which the user is connecting. The parameters only allow the server that created them to read the information they contain. Cookies therefore facilitate the use of previously visited sites. The information collected relates to the IP address, the type of browser used, the language, the type of operating system, the internet service provider, the time and date information, the location and the information sent to the website via the contact form.
  2. The data collected is used to monitor and see how users use our sites to improve the site by providing a more efficient and seamless navigation experience. We monitor user information using the Google Analytics tool, which records user behaviour on the shop site. Cookies identify the user, allowing us to tailor the content of the site they are using to suit their needs. By remembering your preferences, it makes it possible to tailor targeted advertising to you. We use cookies to guarantee the highest standard of comfort of our service, and collected data are used only inside GlobTree Sp. z o.o. company in order to optimise operations.
  3. We use the following cookies on our website:
    1. “necessary” cookies to enable the use of services available on the website, e.g. authentication cookies used for services that require authentication on the website;
    2. cookies used for security purposes, e.g. used to detect misuse of authentication on the website;
    3. “performance” cookies, enabling the collection of information about the use of the website’s pages;
    4. “functional” cookies, which allow “remembering” the user’s chosen settings and personalising the user interface, e.g. with regard to the user’s chosen language or region of origin, font size, website design, etc;
    5. “advertising” cookies, used to provide users with personalised advertising based on the pages they have previously visited and to analyse the effectiveness of the advertising campaign.
  4. The user has the option to disable or restore the collection of cookies at any time by changing the settings in their web browser. Instructions on how to manage cookies are available at http://www.allaboutcookies.org/manage-cookies.

  IV. Data access and security

  1. Personal data collected by GlobTree through the Online Shop are processed in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons in relation to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data (RODO).
  2. Only authorised employees of GlobTree have access to the Customers’ personal data collected through the Online Shop.
  3. The Customers’ personal data may be communicated to other entities on the basis of legal provisions or the consent given by the Customer. The list of entities referred to in the previous sentence is indicated in the paragraph: “How do we process the data collected?”.
  4. Customers have the right to access their personal data, the possibility to rectify it, limit its processing, data portability, to object and to withdraw their consent (if any) at any time without affecting the compatibility of the processing carried out on its basis before its withdrawal. The customer also has the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
  5. For Customers who have an account, access and rectification of personal data are also possible after logging in to the Online Shop account.
  6. The Customer has the right to request deletion of personal data. In certain legally prescribed situations, GlobTree may refuse to delete the Customer’s data.
  7. If the customer subscribes to the newsletter, he/she has the option to remove his/her e-mail address from the mailing list.
  8. In the event that a Customer with an account in the Online Shop loses his/her password in any way, the Online Shop allows a new password to be generated. GlobTree does not send a password reminder. The password is stored in an encrypted form, in such a way that it cannot be read. In order to generate a new password, it is necessary to provide an e-mail address in the form available under the link “You have forgotten your password”, provided when logging in to the account in the Online Shop. The Customer will receive an e-mail message to the e-mail address provided during registration or saved in the last change of the account profile, containing a redirection to a dedicated form made available on the Store’s Website, where the Customer will have the opportunity to set a new password.
  9. GlobTree never sends any correspondence, including electronic correspondence, requesting login details and in particular the password to access the Customer’s account.

  V. Changes to the Privacy Policy

  1. The Privacy Policy is subject to change, of which GlobTree will inform Customers 7 days in advance.
